A group of volunteers advocating animal welfare

CARA was formed in the year 2000 by a dedicated group of animal lovers determined to help the plight of animals in the Philippines. We are a non-profit, non-government organization managed entirely by volunteers advocating animal welfare. We are promoting animal welfare in the country through the following:

Rizal

I've been up for adoption since 2020. Please make me a part of your family....

Pom

I’m one of the sweetest, most playful and friendliest young cats you’ll ever meet. ...

Whitey

I'm a neutered male Aspin. I'm extremely jolly and good-natured. I smile and wag my tail at everyone....

Adopt a cat from Kath

Apparently, six years ago, when Kath turned 18, one of her first tasks as an adult was to reach out to an animal welfare group to lend her support–and she had already chosen, at the time, CARA.

In March 2020, Kath officially became CARA’s ambassador.

Reaching out to her fans and animal lovers like herself, Kath was able to get the word out to Filipinos wanting to get a pet too, as much as possible, adopt.
